 Due to high demand and limited group availability, families are permitted one excused absence within a 90-day period.

If a child misses more than one session within that 90-day window, their spot in the group may be forfeited and the family will be required to reapply and join the waitlist.

Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for illness. All other absences are not eligible for exception due to the high demand and limited availability of this program.

Maintaining consistent attendance allows the group to remain clinically effective and ensures fair access for families on the waitlist.

 When enrolling in Camp ADHD, a credit or debit card is required to be kept on file for your child.

The card on file will be charged within 24–48 hours after each group session.

If you notify us of a cancellation at least 24 hours in advance, your card will not be charged. However, this will still count as your one allowed excused absence within the 90-day attendance period.

If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not attend the session, the session fee will be charged.

If a family has two consecutive no-call, no-show absences, the second absence will be charged and the child will be formally removed from the group.

If no-call, no-show absences occur non-consecutively within the same 90-day period (for example, missing a session without notice, attending a few sessions, and then missing another session without notice within that same window), the second occurrence will be charged and the child will be removed from the group.

These policies exist to ensure consistent participation, clinical effectiveness, and fair access for families on the waitlist.

Camp ADHD is intentionally designed for younger children to ensure the activities, structure, and physical space are developmentally appropriate and clinically effective.

The group uses play-based learning, floor activities, and interactive games, with much of the session taking place on the carpet rather than in traditional chairs. Our current space is best suited for this type of younger-child engagement. Accommodating older children would require different furniture, room configuration, and group structure.

More importantly, this age range allows us to introduce ADHD awareness and executive functioning skills early, in a supportive and non-stigmatizing way. 

Early childhood is a period when the brain is highly adaptable and receptive to learning new skills, routines, and emotional regulation strategies. By starting early, children can build confidence, self-awareness, and practical tools that support long-term success at home and school.
