Our small family practice is the perfect place for your individuals involved in foster care or CPS! Unlike larger agencies, practices, and organizations it is often difficult to get quality therapist who actually want to do the work that we do, let alone stick around! We do this because we want to! On top of it, our leadership team both has tremendous experience in foster care and started their careers there. Our organization is more than happy to provide simple but detailed reports of progress needed for their cases, are experienced handling the trauma and complexity of foster care/CPS, and have a heart for it too!

Our practice has a unique specialty with ADHD! We are able to evaluate for ADHD in our practice along with providing quality therapy when it comes to symptom management and executive functioning while also holding a trauma informed approach for your foster care youth or adult involved with CPS. Please note, while evaluations for ADHD are able to be provided psychological testing is not provided at our practice. Psychological evaluations are the first step in order to establish a ADHD diagnosis, and normally for most people are the only step. Occasionally we do have to refer out for more advanced psychological testing. See our ADHD evaluations page for more information on pricing for this service. Sliding scale pricing may be offered to youth or adults involved in foster care or CPS.
Children involved with child protective services (CPS) and foster care are more than three times as likely to be diagnosed with ADHD compared to other children enrolled in Medicaid.
Approximately half of foster youth diagnosed with ADHD also have a co-occurring mental health condition, such as depression, anxiety, or oppositional defiant disorder.
Approximately 25% of all adults with substance use disorders also meet the clinical criteria for ADHD. In the child welfare system, parents and guardians whose children are referred to CPS are more than three times as likely to suffer from a substance use disorder compared to the general Medicaid population. This means a highly significant portion of parents facing CPS investigations are managing both ADHD and addiction simultaneously.

We accept Medicaid for our therapy services! Medicaid plans accepted are Aetna, Blue Cross Complete, McLaren, Priority Health, and United Healthcare. Straight Medicaid is also accepted Meridian and Molina Medicaid are not accepted at this time.
We are taking clients for a wait list for these plans while we get credentialed and approved.
